Traveling from Redding to Barcelona in one day is quite the journey!! After a car ride to Sacramento, 3 plane rides, and a bus ride to our hotel we have arrived with all of our participants AND all of our luggage! We checked into our hotel, took a quick break to shower and freshen up, and then we walked to the city center to get a quick orientation walking tour. We walked to the main city center, Plaza Catalunya and the Gothic Quarter and we strolled down the very famous Las Ramblas. We then enjoyed a fantastic meal of salad, paella, and ice cream. Our first FATT PIG award recipient was Wyatt Taylor. Wyatt has done an incredible job of demonstrating flexibility, always being helpful, tolerance, thoughtfulness, punctuality, interest in learning, and a good attitude! Congratulations to Wyatt! Our second day in Barcelona will include a guided tour and free time to explore this incredible city.
